Palm Beach is the last beach on Sydney's northernmost peninsular and is particularly unusual in that it divides the ocean from the inland waters of Pittwater, by forming a spectacular natural spit, that culminates in Barrenjoey Island. Whilst being one of the quietest and most unspoilt parts of Sydney, the city is easily accessible by car or public transport (35kms). The peninsula is a protected nature reserve and offers access to walking tracks and many other activities.
